Held in Grief: a Women's Circle
About this Event
How many women go through grief completely alone? How many carry hard things in silence because they don’t want to be a burden?
That's one of the most painful things about the way we live now…when you’re not doing well, it can feel like you’re an inconvenience, like your pain or sadness is too much.
I believe community is not just a place for joy. It’s a place for all of it. For grief, for uncertainty, for the things you can’t yet put into words. That’s the whole point.
Grief, in particular, doesn't move in a straight line, and it isn't meant to be carried alone.
This circle is a space to bring whatever grief you're holding, however it looks right now: the loss of a person, a relationship, a version of yourself, a dream that didn't unfold the way you hoped. Whether it's recent or it's been some time, grief may still be asking to be felt and witnessed. You just need to show up and be willing to be seen and held in the presence of other women going through it.
What to expect:
- A grounding, body-mind practice to arrive fully
- Guided reflection and space for parts of you that are grieving and want to be heard
- Witnessing in pairs or small groups (sharing is always invited, but not required)
- Closing ritual to honour what was shared
What to bring:
A journal, something warm to wrap yourself in, and whatever you're carrying.
