HELD - An Evening of Restorative Yoga & Acupuncture to RESTORE & RECEIVE
HELD -- RESTORE & RECEIVE
A Grounding Evening Before the Holidays
The holidays can ask a lot of us... let this be an invitation for you to take an evening to feel supported.
Join Amy and Shannon for restorative yoga and acupuncture, woven together with guided meditation and thoughtful journaling. We’ll move gently, settle into supported rest, and make room to receive care.
Come as you are..... no expectations.... even if slowing down feels unfamiliar. This is space to breathe and reconnect with the steadiness you want to carry into the season.
Amy will guide you through a gentle restorative yoga practice using supportive postures, breath, and mindful presence to help your body soften and unwind.
Shannon will offer a community-style acupuncture treatment while you rest comfortably in an extended supported Savasana, allowing your body to integrate and receive.
Together, restorative yoga and acupuncture invite the body into a deeply restorative state where healing can unfold naturally.
In a culture that celebrates constant productivity and movement, many of us live in a state of depletion. Traditional Chinese Medicine describes this as Yin deficiency—a state where rest, nourishment, and restoration have been overshadowed by doing, striving, and pushing forward.
This evening is an invitation to slow down.
• To breathe.
• To reconnect with your body.
• To remember that healing doesn't always happen through effort.
Sometimes it happens through receiving.
DURING THIS EXPERIENCE YOU'LL:
• Set a personal intention for your treatment.
• Enjoy a calming restorative yoga practice suitable for every body.
• Receive a personalized group acupuncture treatment based on your chosen area of support.
• Rest in a long, supported Savasana while the acupuncture is retained.
• Leave feeling more grounded, nourished, and connected to yourself.
PLEASE BRING:
• Yoga mat
• Pillows or bolsters
• Blankets
• Anything that helps you feel deeply comfortable
