Most of the world and Christian culture remember the birth of Jesus this month. That's always a good thing to celebrate.
Pageants of pastoral nativity scenes, kids as kings in bathrobes with cotton ball beards are all a nice respite from the adrenaline crush of the rest of the rush.
Yet that sidesteps the harsh reality that it was God's 'Heir strike' into Bethlehem: THE VAV connecting Heaven and earth.
In the biblical calendar we're in the middle of the Feast of Lights and Jesus' Hanukkah fist fight with religious leaders.
We're also right on the cusp of the 10th month - a month linked to the tribe of Dan, 'the judge.'
Do these have a nexus of connection and what is the Spirit saying to the church at this time?
Come to The Flight Deck this week to celebrate First Fruits for this month, the Feast of Lights, and the Incarnation.
Bring your first and best and your favorite food or drink to enjoy and share at 6 PM.
At 7 we'll light up the night in worship, seek His Face, listen for His Voice, and follow where He leads.
Then we'll lean into the Word, connect the dots, gain revelation, and meet up at His Table for the Body and Blood.

Paul alerts us that Lord's Supper requires prep: Set your heart to His, deal with the baggage, and come receive Grace for the race you're in.
Find room in you: The Light has come, the Judge has landed, and the Incarnation wants His rightful place.
