Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) is a condition that affects collagen throughout the body, thereby potentially affecting every part of the body. Day 2 of this course covers a plethora of red flags that every therapist working on the hypermobile population should know! Basic to Advanced information is covered about what therapists should familiarize themselves with to avoid putting the client in danger. This class discusses the Body Systems and Systemic Consequences, Symptoms, hEDS Origin of the Symptoms, and Non-Pharmacological Interventions of hEDS. This class emphasizes the importance of a client intake to avoid potential treatment/service pitfalls. Headaches, Migraines, and the Structural Issues that cause them is discussed at length.
