Hedge Planting at Linley Bank Meadows, Shire Brook Valley

We're working to protect and enhance the amazing meadow grasslands at the Linley Bank Meadows former landfill site. Following on from last year's work, we are planting another 4000 trees to create a low multi-species hedge to support wildlife and protect the precious grasses.

This family-friendly event is suitable for ages 7+

Parking will be available at the Beighton Road entrance to the site: https://maps.app.goo.gl/BoSEx4CJQFwPaaMZA - Vehicles parked at owners' risk.

No previous experience necessary.

Be prepared for mud. Tools and gloves provided.

The planting session will be postponed in the event of bad weather - keep an eye out for emails.
