Saturday mornings belong to the kids. Heartwood Kids Club is a free weekly program filled with hands-on fun designed especially for children ages 4–8. Activities can include crafts, demonstrations, creative projects or interactive experiences each week brings a new surprise. Kids must be accompanied by an adult, so the whole family can enjoy a playful start to the weekend together.
Happening every Saturday morning June 13th through September.
🧬 6/13 – Second Saturdays STEAM Craft
Young explorers are invited to discover, create, and learn through hands-on STEAM activities. Each month features a new project that combines science, technology, engineering, art, and math in a fun and engaging way designed to spark creativity and curiosity.
🫧 6/27 – Foam Party
Get ready for a mountain of bubbly fun. Kids can dance, play, and cool off in a sea of foam during this high-energy outdoor party. Bring your swimsuit, towel, and plenty of enthusiasm for one of Heartwood's most popular summer experiences.
🪁 7/4 – Kites and Spinners Craft
Celebrate summer skies by designing colorful kites and playful wind spinners. Kids will create their own take-home masterpieces before heading outside to watch their creations soar and spin in the breeze.

Young explorers are invited to discover, create, and learn through hands-on STEAM activities. Each month features a new project that combines science, technology, engineering, art, and math in a fun and engaging way designed to spark creativity and curiosity.
🧼 7/18 – The Amazing Bubble Show presented by The Omaha Children’s Museum (show 10am -10:45am, crafts until 12pm)
Prepare to be amazed as giant bubbles, bubble tricks, and interactive experiments take center stage. This captivating performance combines science and entertainment for a magical experience that delights children and adults alike.

Young artists can unleash their creativity while painting and personalizing ceramic keepsakes. This hands-on activity encourages imagination and provides a unique creation to take home and treasure.
👜 8/1 – Tote Bag Decorating
Design a one-of-a-kind tote bag that's both creative and practical. Kids can personalize their bags with colorful artwork, patterns, and designs to create a fun accessory they can use for school, camp or the library.

Blast off into an exciting journey through space exploration. Through interactive demonstrations and hands-on activities, children will learn about planets, stars, astronauts, and the wonders of our universe in a fun and engaging presentation.

Bring the whole family for an energetic, kid-friendly concert featuring The String Beans. Known for their engaging performances and interactive songs, this family favorite will have everyone singing, dancing, and making memories together.
