Come hang out at 80 Leaf Ave on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 4:00 PM (Eastern Daylight Time) for a fun and relaxed afternoon of painting and worship. Whether you're an artist or just looking to fellowship and praise the Lord amongst great company, this event is for you. Bring your creativity and your heart—let’s make some art and worship together.
We will also be raffling off some amazing prizes to raise money for Heartsong House!
The session will be led by artist Christine “Melosa Basquiat” Whaley, a painter from Jamaica, Queens, whose work is deeply rooted in faith, culture, and family legacy. As a member of the Basquiat family, she carries forward a creative heritage of bold storytelling, activism, and prophetic expression inspired by the legacy of her cousin, the late artist, Jean-Michel Basquiat.
Melosa Basquiat’s work blends Christian symbolism, raw emotion, and vibrant color to create art that encourages healing, identity, and spiritual reflection.
This paint and worship event aims to be a space where people can encounter creativity, community, and the presence of God in a meaningful and personal way.

HeartSong House is a New York State nonprofit organization dedicated to cultivating a caring community where people feel seen, valued, and supported.
