Metalines Studios Presents... Heartsink! Live at Queens Bar and Coffee House with special guests Zero Cost and Bugfacer!!
Heartsink
Comprised of twin brothers Zac and Jake Roughton (guitar/vocals and drums, respectively), Bryn Portas (bass/vocals) and Kiel Hodgson (guitar), Heartsink have been quietly tearing it up under various guises for well over a decade. Hailing from York, UK, their fresh and anthemic take on classic 2000’s pop punk has been electrifying audiences across the UK, with their bold and charismatic stage presence and penchant for honest, catchy hooks earning them plaudits the country over.
Having shared stages with bands such as Boston Manor, Junior, Dream State, ROAM, Metro Station, Led By Lanterns, WSTR, Sonicboom Six, As December Falls, Coast To Coast, Chapter & Verse, SayWeCanFly, Milestones, Parting Gift, Teenage Bottlerocket, Slackrr and Kris Roe (The Ataris) to name but a few, Heartsink are showing no signs of slowing down. After a triple-shot release of singles across 2020, the way was paved for the long-awaited debut EP 'Mainspring', featuring the bands strongest material to date and giving a platform on which to cement their future.
Zero Cost
Zero Cost are a Melodic Punk Trio hailing from Hull, influenced by '94 style skate punk and melodic hardcore. Tony Hawk meets Michael Moore!
Bug Facer
Bug Facer are doomy, droney and as loud as it gets. Formed in 2022, initially as a two piece, Bug Facer have gone from strength to strength in Hull’s scene. From early jams at the legendary Adelphi open mic night, to playing to packed venues across the region; they have attacked Hull’s scene with a mastered cacophony. Through Warren Records, Bug Facer have tamed their noise catalogue. Releasing their first single “Horsefly” in 2022, shortly followed by the E.P Triple Death in 2023, and the fantastical “Fiery Demon Attacks Old Man On Bridge” in 2024.
This is noise rock and punk distilled in Hull, for fans of Gilla Band, Enola Gay, Swans and Slint Prepare for sonic onslaught, noise, noise, noise
