This Christmas, Gentle Hugs is inviting our community to help us create something truly meaningful.
We're bringing the "Every Heart Holds a Story" display to the annual Christmas on the Beach holiday drive-thru event in Rockport, Tx! Our display will feature three illuminated Christmas trees filled with hand-decorated wooden hearts, each representing a baby who is forever loved and remembered.
But before the lights turn on, we need YOUR help bringing it to life!
🎨 JOIN US IN PERSON!
We're hosting two community-creating gatherings where families, friends, and neighbors can decorate remembrance hearts and bring this special display together.
📅 Saturday, November 14 | 12–2 PM
📅 Wednesday, November 18 | 6–8 PM
📍 Salt + Light | Downtown Rockport, TX
All ages are welcome; supplies will be provided, and participation is completely FREE.
A special thank-you to Salt + Light for generously opening their doors and providing the space for our community to come together and create something so meaningful. We're grateful for their support in helping bring this display to life!
We invite families, friends, and loved ones to come together in remembrance of babies gone too soon. Each decorated heart will honor a little life and the love that continues beyond goodbye.

You can still be part of the display!
We're inviting families near and far to submit their baby's name or a short message through our virtual participation form. A Gentle Hugs volunteer will decorate a wooden heart for you so your baby's story can be represented in our Christmas display.

Our completed "Every Heart Holds a Story" display will be featured at the annual Christmas on the Beach holiday drive-thru event happening from December 6, 2026, through January 3, 2027.
Our hope is that as families drive through the lights this Christmas, they'll see more than decorations. They'll see a community coming together to honor little lives, acknowledge the love that remains, and remind grieving families that they are not forgotten.
Because we cannot change the goodbye, but we can change how families are held through it.
