Write a letter from the heart to declare your love, ask for love advice, or just a letter of gratitude, and receive a response after the event. Submit letters February 1st through the 15th. The story of the Juliet Letters started in the 1930’s when Ettore Solimani, the guardian of Juliet’s Tomb, began gathering the first letters people left at the grave and, moved by this phenomenon, he started replying, thus becoming the first “Juliet’s secretary”. Letters to Juliet is a cozy, sentimental experience where guests of all ages can pause, reflect, and express love through handwritten letters. Whether romantic, familial, or heartfelt notes of gratitude, participants can write messages that will receive thoughtful replies mailed back to them. This activity adds a timeless, intimate element to Hearts Afire and encourages meaningful connection beyond the event itself. Based on the timeless movie “Letters to Juliet” you can drop your letter off at Juliet’s Mailboxes located throughout Loveland and receive a reply from our very own Loveland Valentines Ladies. Letters may be anonymous or signed. All ages welcome. How It Works: Write a letter from the heart – the letter can be to declare love, ask for love advice or just a letter of gratitude.
