About this Event

Heartland invites you to saddle up for our Annual Fundraising Dinner & Auction on November 21, 2026, at 5:00 PM at the Johnson County Heritage Center! This year, we’re going western as we gather our community for an evening of good food, good fun, and a whole lot of heart—all while raising funds to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

For nearly four decades, Heartland has been creating places of belonging where adults with intellectual disabilities can build meaningful relationships, discover their gifts, and live full and joyful lives. From our residential homes and Green Express Recycling Studio to our Day Service and the countless relationships we build throughout the Kansas City community, our mission is rooted in dignity, friendship, faith, and the belief that every person has something valuable to contribute.

Our Annual Dinner & Auction is one of the biggest ways our community comes together to make that mission possible. Your support helps provide opportunities, experiences, transportation, programs, and the everyday resources that allow our Core Members to thrive.

Join us for a western-themed evening featuring a delicious dinner, silent auction, our always-popular Heartland Dessert Auction, and plenty of fun surprises along the way! Whether you join us at the event, bid from home, donate an item or experience, or simply make a gift to support our mission, you’re helping us build a stronger, more inclusive community.

There are plenty of ways to get involved. Donate goods, services, experiences, or gift packages to our auction. Invite your friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors to join you. And most importantly, come ready to have a great time while making a meaningful difference!
