About the Exhibit:
Heartland: The Stories of Ohio Through 250 Objects, curated by Andrew Richmond and Hollie Davis, is on display at the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio from January 31 - April 26, 2026.
As America marks 250 years, Heartland: The Stories of Ohio Through 250 Objects explores the state’s own rich history through a carefully curated selection of art, textiles, household objects, ephemera, and more.
Each piece tells a story, collectively weaving together landmark events with lesser-known tales of people, places, and ideas that shaped Ohio’s spirit and helped define it as the heart of the nation.

While the library's main entrance is under construction, we remain open. Clear signage will guide visitors to a temporary, fully accessible entrance via a ramp in the southeast alley, leading to the dock entrance.
The library parking lot also remains open, with temporary entry and exit available via Euclaire Avenue only. Parking may be limited, so we encourage you to arrive early and use street parking on Euclaire, Mound, and other nearby streets.
