Heartland Fest is a FREE multi-faceted celebration of Caribbean art and music in Little Haiti, Florida, bringing together the diaspora with an art exhibition and a pan-Caribbean party to close the night out.

Beginning at 5:30 PM, the Haitian Cultural Arts Alliance will be unveiling a new art exhibition, Haiti in the Heartland, in and around the Little Haiti Cultural Complex Courtyard.

Following will be sounds untill 1 1 pm by the legendary King Waggy Tee [@waggytee991], Dj Mixx [@DjMixx305] of The Reggaeboyz [@ReggaeboyzSound], and DJ Mack, spinning Dancehall, Soca, Kompa, Zouk, and Afrobeats. Live performances provided by NSL Danse Ensemble [@nsldansensemble].

Legal Considerations. Please Read:

Should Heartland Fest event ("Event) be postponed due to unforeseen/uncontrolled circumstances, patrons will be notified promptly of the rescheduled date, and their RSVP shall be honored accordingly.

Patrons assume all risk and responsibility for their well-being, safety, and safety of their property while on the premises (this includes any and all risk associated with consuming products made available, whether food, drink, or otherwise).

For good and valuable consideration the sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, and by virtue of RSVPing and attending, patrons hereby acknowledge that the Event shall be audio-visually recorded and patrons hereby release their rights of personality (image, likeness, etc.) for use in connection with said recording.

Patrons hereby acknowledge that any involvement in such recording shall be a work made for hire under US Copyright law, owned by Event producers - from the inception of the creation of the work. In the event the results and proceeds of patrons participation do not qualify as a work made for hire, patrons hereby assign all rights to the same (including so-called "moral rights"), for the duration of said rights in perpetuity, to the Event producers hereof.

Patrons hereby convey to Event producers a gratis, worldwide, perpetual license to utilize the abovementioned footage in the marketing and promotion of this and similar productions, and release Event producers of any and all claims (whether related to copyright, trademark, or otherwise) in connection with the same.

By RSVPing and attending, patrons release and hold harmless Event producers from any and all liability associated (whether directly or indirectly) with the Event, at-large.
