Heartfelt Holidays Grief Workshop

Give your teen the care they need to navigate their grief with 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐭 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬: 𝐀 𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐬 on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

💔 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬:
When someone dies, teens are often the silent grievers—overlooked as families cope with loss. During the holidays, their grief can feel even heavier. This workshop is designed to provide a safe, supportive space for them to process their emotions, find comfort, and connect with others who understand.

✨ 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨-𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫
My 17-year-old daughter will co-facilitate this workshop, bringing her lived experience of losing her brother at the age of 8 and navigating her own grief. As a high school facilitator for community-wide dialogue, she is passionate about supporting others and will offer a unique perspective, empathy, and guidance to help teens on their grief journeys.

▪️ Healing activities using our Scream Room, Breakthrough Rooms, and Affirmation Room.
▪️ A meaningful memorial craft—bring a photo or piece of clothing from your loved one.
▪️ A comforting meal to enjoy together.
