Heartbeat’s Annual Farm Festa is more than just a dinner…

This cultural arts and education project begins months before the dinner, and braids together herbal, culinary, and musical learning spaces in Heartbeat’s gardens, culminating in the Annual Farm Festa Dinner, where the fruits of our community learning and creativity are showcased!

This project carries a collective effervescence of many hands crafting together in a growing momentum towards the Festa celebration! This is our fifth year offering this Farm Festa dinner event and every year we grow our educational offerings and contributing partnerships. The Festa Dinner itself is a feast of the senses welcoming our community to enjoy nature’s bounty. It includes a 5-course Southern Italian farm-to-table meal, that showcases community-grown produce, communally-crafted herbal infusions, and homemade heirloom tomato sauce harvested from and cooked together in the gardens. The meal is inspired by our family roots recipes and is accompanied by traditional music offered by local community members. None of us are professional chefs, nor are we professional musicians. This is a labor of love with family and friends, and a celebration of traditional culinary and musical arts.
