Heart Felt: Felting All the Feels

This workshop will give you the opportunity to create a 3D felted heart complete with it’s own “feels.” We’ll explore both the tactile definition of feels with soft fibers and silky inclusions as well as the emotional feels as we engage in some creative meditations using the process of wet felting.
Felting techniques will include using a resist to create a hollow form and creating texture with inclusions like sparkles, silk, and wool locks. We will also talk about the real “feels” that fill our hearts and how mindful creativity can be a useful tool when those feelings get too big or overwhelming. All abilities and skill levels are welcome.
