What to Expect
This 2.5-hour immersive simulation is designed to provide participants with a firsthand understanding of hearing distressing voices. Developed by Dr. Pat Deegan, the simulation helps build empathy and awareness while teaching practical ways to support individuals who hear distressing voices. Participants will engage in real-life tasks while experiencing simulated auditory hallucinations, followed by a group discussion to process insights and lessons.
Who Should Attend?
Behavioral and physical health professionals, students, caregivers, first responders, educators, clergy, policymakers, and anyone interested in understanding this experience are welcome to attend.
