Community Caregivers and At Home Hearing Healthcare are pleased to offer a unique talk on hearing loss and its connections to dementia, falling and total health including mental health. Tuesday, January 14th at 1:00PM in CCGD’s meeting room at 6 West Broadway, Unit 6 in Derry. This talk will also discuss the many unknown causes of hearing loss such as chronic illnesses. Information will be provided on the many treatment options, assistive living devices, and insurance coverage. Free screenings will take place after the talk. The hosts will also be sharing tips on IPHONE apps that help those with hearing loss.
April Torreiro, Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist from At Home Hearing Healthcare has been helping patients have a better quality of life since 2016. Living with hearing loss in her own family and volunteering with seniors for 20yrs has given her a higher compassion for helping her patients receive proper treatment and educating them on the best technology options for their individual prescription and lifestyle.
