Hear to Be Seen 3: Connect, Collaborate, Create is a celebration of what can happen when artists, photographers, cultural organizations and public partners come together to invest in Huntsville’s creative community.
Presented through a collaboration between the Huntsville Music Office, WLRH, The Orion Amphitheater, the Huntsville Museum of Art, and BLAST Music, this event brings together music, photography and storytelling to highlight the people who make North Alabama’s music scene unique. The evening also serves as the official kickoff to Huntsville Music Month, celebrating the power of collaboration across our city’s creative ecosystem.
Join us for an evening featuring the debut of 28 collaborative works created by local photographers and musicians, opportunities to connect with fellow creatives, and a first look at an exhibition that will continue throughout the community. Following its opening at The Orion, the exhibition will travel to Huntsville City Hall and the Huntsville Museum of Art, making these stories accessible to residents and visitors throughout Huntsville Music Month.
This year’s exhibition was shaped through an open call that invited photographers and musicians to collaborate in new ways, with a community panel selecting the featured works from submissions received earlier this summer. The result is a collection that reflects the creativity, diversity and momentum of Huntsville’s growing music community.
Whether you’re an artist, photographer, music fan or simply passionate about Huntsville’s creative future, we invite you to join us as we celebrate the people, partnerships and collaborations helping shape our city’s cultural identity.
