Hear Me Now! Youth Voices on Education & City Change
About this Event
Welcome to the registration event page for Hear Me Now! Youth Voices on Education and City Change
Hear Me Now! is an action-packed day-long convening specifically for (rising and current) high school students (or ages 14 and up) from Boston, Cambridge, and Providence to have uninterrupted time using arts, movement, and literacy to share their insights and perspectives on city change, education, and youth development programs in their cities.
The programming will include panels with community organizers, youth leaders, and program directors working on educational advocacy, housing rights, and other issues. This will be a valuable opportunity for youth to be center stage -- connecting, sharing experiences, freedom dreaming, and exploring ways to create change together.
Support for travel and meals will be provided for all registrants. All youth attendees are required to travel with Youth Work Professionals from their community organization.
A sample agenda is provided.
Please note: there are two ticket types
Youth ticket: specifically for the youth (limit to 5 per organization) who will attend from your organization
Youth Work Professional (YWP) ticket: specifically for the YWPs (limit to 3 per organization) who will accompany youth from your organization
Frequently asked questions will be updated in upcoming weeks.
