At this year's Healthy Women, Healthy World Luncheon, your support has the power to get kids back in the game and heal their bodies so their spirits can soar. Women and girls deserve access to healthcare that keeps their bodies strong so that girls can run after their friends to school, and mothers can pick up their children for an embrace.
Do you remember what it felt like to dream as a little girl? To see an actress, a zookeeper, a doctor, and think—that's what I want to be when I grow up. Well for many of the girls that we serve, their dreams are limited by their lack of access to healthcare. In the remote, crisis-stricken places where we work, a little girl’s dream might be just to have a safe place to sleep that night, or to have a meal that day.
But when you support the work of Medical Teams, you give girls the chance to let their dreams evolve into something much more.
