Save the Date!Join us for Anicira’s Healthy Pets Event on Saturday, October 11, from 10 AM to 1 PM at Hillandale Park in Harrisonburg!
This free, community-focused event helps families with limited access to pet care and reduces preventable surrenders by offering essential resources to the dogs and cats living in their home.
Please note that the event is for family pets only, as part of Anicira's mission of keeping pets happier and healthier, and with the people who love them.
The event includes:
- Free dog vaccines: rabies + distemper (DAPPv)
- Free cat vaccines: rabies + combo (HCP)
- Free pet supplies and resources for pets and their families who register at the event.
What to expect:
- No reservation needed—services are first-come, first-served
- Dogs should be leashed (non-retractable leashes, please)
- Cats should be in carriers (some carriers will be available for use)
- Upon arrival, you’ll be directed to parking and guided through vaccine, supply, and resource stations
We’re partnering with volunteers and local organizations—including Rockingham-Harrisonburg SPCA and Cat’s Cradle—to ensure every pet is cared for safely and according to their temperament and needs.
