HKRS is a five week youth running program for ages 2-14 helping kids to Get Up and Go! It’s our mission to engage community businesses, families & children by providing an inclusive youth running experience, inspiring kids to believe in themselves and lead an active healthy lifestyle.
We run five consecutive Saturday mornings through September and October. Kids will run various distances based on the age. At the end of every series, EVERY runner gets a medal, and the 1st place in kindergarten and up will receive a trophy.
It is a fun, encouraging, positive, and supportive way to explore running, meet friends, and learn about living a healthy lifestyle!
