Healthy Kids Day is a national YMCA initiative focused on improving the health and well-being of kids and families. Healthy Kids Day is celebrated at Ys across the nation to inspire children and families to stay mentally and physically active during the upcoming summer season.Join us at our Southeast Y on April 18 for a free, community event full of active games and fun activities—plus, our official grand opening of our new Southeast Y playground!
Schedule
- 11:45 am: New Playground Grand Opening
- 12:00 pm: All other activities begin
- 1:00 pm: Bike Parade—Bring your bike to decorate at the Y or decorate at home to show off in our bicycle procession around our outdoor track!

- Free bike helmets and bike decorations
- Free light-duty bike tune-ups from Bloomington Bicycles
- Touch-a-truck with Monroe Fire Protection District
- Inflatables, games, and activities
- Open swim in our indoor pools
