Healthy Kids Day is a free, national YMCA event celebrated across the country to inspire healthy habits in kids and families — and it’s coming back to Skagit this spring!Join us for an afternoon of fun, activity, and family-friendly learning designed to help kids grow strong in spirit, mind, and body.
At Healthy Kids Day, families will explore ways to build healthy habits through:
🥦 Nutrition and healthy eating
🏃 Physical activity and active play
🧠 Mental and emotional well-being
🌞 Healthy routines for summer and beyond
Kids will enjoy hands-on activities, games, and interactive stations hosted by local organizations and community partners — all designed to get kids excited about staying active and healthy.
This event is also a great opportunity for families to discover local programs, camps, and resources available for Summer 2026.
Plus, we’ll have the Washington State Department of Health’s “Care-a-Van" Mobile Health Services van on site providing free consults/support for families, as well as the Skagit County Public Health’s immunization bus.
Bring the whole family and celebrate a day dedicated to helping kids grow up healthy, confident, and connected to their community.
