Healthy Family Relationships – Half-Day Learning Session (Afternoon)

We are inviting professionals, volunteers and community members in Middlesbrough to join this half-day learning session delivered by Amity in partnership with Middlesbrough Council and the Middlesbrough Youth Mutual.

The Amity Relationship Toolkit is a practical, solution-focused resource that helps people approach conflict and communication differently. It introduces simple tools and strategies that support calmer, more productive conversations. Whether at work, at home, or in everyday life.

Children learn about relationships from the adults around them. The more confident we feel in managing conflict and improving communication, the better we can support them.

During this session, you will:

• Be introduced to practical tools for managing disagreement constructively
• Explore approaches to improving family communication
• Reflect on how small changes in everyday conversations can make a meaningful difference
• Gain access to resources that can be used in professional or personal settings

This session is open to all. While community members are very welcome, the delivery will be framed through a professional practice lens to support those who work with children, young people, and families.

Places are limited to 60 participants.
