What herbs do you like to eat? What herbs grow well in the Inner West of Sydney? Discover the variety of herbs, their qualities, requirements to grow well and uses for cooking, health and applications in the garden.
Learn how to grow herbs in an environmentally friendly and labour-reducing fashion! Gardeners of all types are welcome, from beginners to experts.
This workshop will involve practical demonstrations and exercises in our small space edible garden, including deadheading, replanting and propagating. You will get to take home a choice of 3 herbs for your potted garden, raised or garden bed.

Accessibility: If you have any access or support requirements in order to participate fully, please let us know. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and has an accessible toilet, lift access to the library car park and a hearing loop is available.
This workshop is presented by Inner West Council. Entry is free for residents of the Inner West Council area and priority will be given to Inner West residents. If you are unsure you can search by address at the Office of Local Government website to find your local government area.
