In this hands-on class, we’ll unpack the first element of balanced eating: carbohydrates. You will learn how to batch prep roast vegetables, leafy greens, and grains and turn them into fast, flavour-packed meals. Your instructor Sonya will share her commercial cookery tricks, on how to use the same ingredients in different ways all week long, with 5–15 minutes of active cooking time per dish.
Drawing from her Master's degree in Public Health Nutrition, Sonya will present the difference between starch, simple carbs, complex carbs, and fibre and how to make them work for you, not against you.
