Healthy Bodies Workshop 3 at Meadows Library

Explore how vaccination is enabling worldwide polio eradication and engage with polio history through: comparing our birth years to UK polio vaccine milestones; polio survivor stories; building a model of an iron lung using recycled materials; examining how polio vaccines protect the body using simple anatomical diagrams; making “6in1 vaccine facts” collages.

This event is suitable for families with children aged 8-14. When booking your tickets, please include all adults and children attending. All children must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years of age who will supervise their children during the workshop.

This workshop runs from 10.30am-12.30pm.
