🤩 About our Guest Speaker:
is the Co-Founder and former CEO of Rippl, a venture-backed healthcare technology company building a new model for dementia care. Drawing on his experience scaling large, complex businesses, Kris set out to tackle one of healthcare’s hardest problems: expanding access to high quality dementia care for seniors, families, and caregivers. Founded in 2021, Rippl combined a virtual, AI-driven platform, value-based care, and a clinician-first approach to deliver specialized, wraparound dementia care at scale. Kris raised more than $52 million from leading investors, including General Catalyst, ARCH Venture Partners, GV (Google Ventures), and Mass General Brigham Ventures. In February 2025, Rippl was acquired by Harbor Health, a health insurer and primary and specialty care provider. Before founding Rippl, Kris was President of Aegis Living, a leading assisted living and memory care provider. He also spent more than 16 years at Starbucks, ultimately serving as President of its flagship U.S. Retail business, overseeing more than 8,500 stores and leading the company’s largest operating unit. His experience spans scaling complex operating businesses, international markets, and global functions. Earlier in his career, Kris worked in venture investing at Madrona Venture Group and served in the White House as Personal Aide to President Bill Clinton.
