Join King County’s Behavioral Health Legislative Forum, a lively evening of conversation, learning, and recovery, free and open to all.
About this Event

We invite you to join King County’s annual Behavioral Health Legislative Forum on Tuesday, November 10th at Hilton Seattle Airport & Conference Center. Doors open at 5:30pm; the program begins at 6:00pm.

The forum gathers people who care about mental health and substance use recovery from across the region. People with lived experience, behavioral health providers, advocates, lawmakers, and King County leaders all take part. More than 450 people joined us last year, and the event remains free and open to everyone.

Here's what you can look forward to:

• Talking directly with lawmakers and community members about behavioral health and recovery
• Hearing real stories of mental health and substance use recovery
• Learning about King County’s behavioral health legislative priorities for the 2027 session
• Connecting with others who want to support behavioral health in our region

Conversation Tables

Interested in speaking with your elected officials about mental health, substance use, or your recovery story? You'll have ample time to connect directly with your state or local lawmakers at the Forum. We often hear these conversations are the heart of the Forum for lawmakers and guests alike.

Relaxation Room

The Relaxation Room is a calming environment for Forum guests to seek respite or support from peers. Open throughout the Forum.

Info: A community pre-event designed to build connection and energy for the evening ahead.

Welcome and Reception

Info: Check in, make a nametag, and find your legislative district. Check out Recovery In Action and tabling. Mingle with your colleagues and community. Help yourself to food and drinks.

Info: Connect with your elected official. Head inside the ballroom to the round tables and look for your state or county district number.
