Parkinson’s disease is a progressive neurological disorder that affects movement and overall quality of life. It occurs when brain cells that produce dopamine gradually decline. Common symptoms include tremors, slowed movement, muscle stiffness, and balance challenges, along with non-motor symptoms such as sleep disturbances, mood changes, and cognitive concerns. This talk series aims to bring together healthcare professionals, researchers, therapists, caregivers, advocates, and individuals to share knowledge, practical strategies, and the latest developments in care and research. Together, we can strengthen awareness, promote understanding, and support those living with Parkinson’s disease and their families.
