Health Is Wealth Detroit 2024. The Black Legacy Advancement Coalition is bringing back its premiere wellness experience to the city this summer, Health Is Wealth Detroit 2024! The event's purpose is to bring education, joy, healing and restoration to the City of Detroit through intentionally curated conversations and experiences that center our health, wellness and humanity. There will be exceptional food, high quality vendors, free health screenings, live music, fitness classes, awards for selected wellness leaders across Metro Detroit, as well as some incredible giveaways!

Health Is Wealth Detroit is the premier gathering for individuals and families that want to have an experience that is fun, educational, and culturally rich. And the entire day is centered around something as positive as taking care of yourself - spirit, soul and body. On Friday, August 16, 2024, beginning promptly at 12:00 Noon, until 9:00 PM, Metro Detroiters, and guests from cities near and far, are invited to share in the festivities at the Eastern Market.

Attendees will be directly connected with meaningful resources such as free wellness testing, literature, and wellness kits for the first 1,000 registrants. The Detroit Health Department, Wayne State University’s Mobile Health Unit, the Detroit Medical Center, and Henry Ford Health will be on site to provide free wellness screenings to attendees. The Detroit Pistons and The Konnection will be providing youth activities. Brandon Rose & Soul Therapy will be our dynamic house band entertainment, along with a special guest DJ, and other musical acts from notable Detroiters all throughout the day.
