Health Empowerment Advocacy Resource Training (H.E.A.R.T.)

The Health Empowerment Advocacy Resource Training (H.E.A.R.T.) is brought to you by The Center for Black Health & Equity, the Northeast Ohio Black Health Coalition, the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, and the American Heart Association.
This community advocacy training session will follow a train-the-trainer model, equipping participants with the knowledge and tools to advocate effectively for health policy change in their communities.
During this full-day session, we will explore:

✅ The fundamentals of advocacy and Cleveland’s political landscape

✅ Effective strategies and tools to navigate advocacy challenges

✅ Insights from guest speakers, including Cleveland Department of Health and Cleveland City Council representatives.
