Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland & Perry Counties (DVSCP), in partnership with AmeriChoice Federal Credit Union and Carlisle Hope Station, is planning a FREE community-wide event for Child Abuse Awareness Month called “Healing Through Art: Child Abuse Awareness Day.”
Join us on Saturday, April 5, from 12 noon – 4:00pm at Memorial Park in Carlisle for our second annual child abuse art event. It’ll be a day for kids to come out and create art related to resilience and healing, while having fun! Activities will include free children’s art workshops, live music, food trucks, and games.
The agency is in the planning phase of this exciting event and we need your help. Are you, or do you know of, the following who would be willing to donate their time:
- Musician
- Yoga instructor
- Artist to lead an art workshop
- Volunteer to lead games
