About this Event

Healing Menopause: A Spiritual Approach Retreat

Join certified Sex Educator, Kara Haug, and Episcopal Priest and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Rev. Danae Ashley, as we explore the changes we experience in perimenopause and menopause to body, mind, and spirit.

There is so much we encounter in this natural process that can make us feel out of control with our bodies, minds and emotions. Kara and Danae want to make this a space where you can learn, grieve, share, and then create. This is a time where we can offer support to one another and create a life that we have been longing for.

What to expect:

  • Overview and Menopause 101
  • Time for individual reflection and group discussion
  • Spiritual conversation around the menopausal shift and how change affects us in a deep and embodied way
  • Activities to show compassion and care for our bodies, minds, and spirits
  • Community of Wisdom Zoom follow-up

What do we want them to walk away with?

  • Deeper connection to mind, body, and spirit
  • Feeling held by community
  • Goodie bag

Please bring a journal to this event and wear clothing that makes you feel good. There is a small parking lot and street parking available. Also bring footwear to walk in, there will be an opportunity to walk in the park that is nearby if so desired.

Lunch will be provided. Once a ticket is purchased a form will be sent out asking about food allergies and any other needs for the event.
