The Headwaters Trail is a circular route that takes you to the ‘head of the waters’ - the source - of the River Calder, the River Aire and the River Don high up on the moors of the Yorkshire Dales, Peak District and South Pennines. The trail that connects bridleways and quiet lanes along moors, valleys and the broad floodplain.
On the event weekend there is the option of using two campsites.
Distance: 325km (200 miles) with a 250km option
