Learn how to create a padded headband and a beautiful Valentino-inspired bow incorporating couture tricks of the trade, perfect to wear to Christmas events, or perhaps to give to someone special as a present too!
Spend a magical few hours in my studio opposite Sugnall Walled Garden, surrounded by beautiful fabrics and haberdashery, pretty trimmings, inspirational mood boards, and jars of vintage beads and sparkles. Embellish your bow and trim with feathers and millinery net, or make a festive headdress by adding vintage beads, sequins and crystals!
You’ll leave at the end of the workshop with a beautiful headband and bow, and a folder of notes and samples to remind you so that you can continue on your millinery journey.
Cost £65 to include all materials, tea or coffee, a light lunch and delicious homemade cakes.
Skill Level: Suitable for all skill levels, including beginners as only simple hand sewing is required.
Venue: The workshop is held in my studio, which is in an attic on the first floor overlooking Sugnall Walled Garden, a light-filled space where you’ll be surrounded by inspirational mood boards, fabrics, laces, trimmings and haberdashery.
My studio address is Unit 1A Sugnall Business Centre, Sugnall, Staffordshire, ST21 6NF. Directions will be provided on booking and there is plenty of free car parking on site.
