Join Piedmont Newnan for an informative community education event focused on head and neck cancer awareness, early detection, and prevention. This session will be led by a team of experienced specialists, including ENT physicians Mark McClinton, M.D., James Burson, M.D., and Head and Neck Surgical Oncologist Mark El‑Deiry, M.D.Head and neck cancers can impact everyday functions like speaking, eating, drinking, and swallowing, but when detected early, they are often highly treatable. At Piedmont, we are committed to empowering our community through simplified, unified, and accessible care—and education is a critical first step.
This event is especially important if you:
- Use alcohol or tobacco
- Have a persistent neck mass or ongoing mouth/throat pain
- Have been infected with HPV
Attendees will learn about risk factors, warning signs, and the importance of early evaluation, with opportunities to hear directly from specialists and ask questions.
