Stillness is sometimes the most important move we can make."He This retreat is the third of three retreats designed for all who serve in ministry—pastors, ministers, deacons, priests, vicars, chaplains, and others who respond to God’s call in their daily work.
You are invited to Sister Eveleen Retreat House to set aside the demands of ministry for a short while. Take time to pray, to walk, to be still, to reflect - to rest ...and be strengthened.
These days offer an opportunity to step back from the demands of ministry and to spend time in the presence of our loving God.
The retreat will follow a simple rhythm of prayer, communion, and silence. Each morning includes a brief guided session, with spiritual direction available throughout.
Donald and Janice Scott will be present to gently accompany you through these days.
Beyond these, the retreat will be largely self-directed, supported by a brief written guide to assist your personal reflection and prayer.
These days have been set apart especially for those engaged in ministry
—recognising both the depth of this calling and the challenge of finding space for personal renewal.
