Hṛdaya: A Meditation Immersion Series with Jackie*
**Hṛdaya** (pronounced *hrid-eye-ah*) is a Sanskrit word meaning **heart**—not simply the physical heart, but the spiritual heart: the sacred center of our being where awareness, love, wisdom, and our deepest Self reside. Across many contemplative traditions, the heart is understood as the meeting place between our individual lives and something far greater than ourselves. It is a place we do not create, but remember—a place we return to.
"Remember: what you seek in meditation is your own Beloved, your own inner intelligence, your own Awareness, and your own Truth."
— *Sally Kempton, Meditation for the Love of It*
In *Meditation for the Love of It*, Sally Kempton describes meditation not as something we strive to master, but as a loving relationship with our own deepest Self. Rather than trying to become someone different, meditation invites us home—to the quiet, steady presence that has always been within us.
This three-part immersion is an invitation to deepen your relationship with your Self through the wisdom of the heart.
Many of us have become highly attuned to our thinking mind. Others are deeply familiar with the emotional landscape that rises and falls within us. We spend much of our lives following our thoughts, reacting to our emotions, and trying to make sense of the sensations that move through our bodies.
Yet beneath all of these experiences is something quieter, steadier, and infinitely more spacious.
This series invites you to gently shift your center of gravity—from the constant movement of the mind into the spacious awareness of the heart. Through meditation, reflection, movement, creative practices, and compassionate inquiry, you'll cultivate a relationship with the part of you that can lovingly witness every thought, emotion, sensation, and life experience without needing to fix, change, or reject any of it.
As our practice deepens, we begin to discover that love is not something we have to earn or create. It is the very ground of our being. From this place, we naturally become more compassionate toward ourselves, more present with others, and more able to meet life's joys and sorrows with openness.
This series is not about becoming someone new.
It is about remembering who you have always been.
May this journey bring you home to yourself with greater compassion, deeper rest, quiet confidence, and a heart that is more open to the fullness of your own life.
Our Journey Together
**Weekend I — Entering**
**Coming Home to the Heart**
Our first weekend is an invitation to slow down, arrive, and begin cultivating a relationship with your inner world. Together we'll establish a foundation of trust, curiosity, and compassionate awareness as we explore what it means to live from Self rather than from our conditioned patterns.
Together we'll explore:
* Introduction to our journey together
* What is Self?
* Modes of inner contact and communication
* Intention setting
* Consent, trust, and internal safety
* Meeting the doorway to the heart
* Establishing a daily meditation practice
---
Weekend II — Softening
**Welcoming What Has Been Protecting You**
As our awareness deepens, we naturally encounter the places within us that have learned to protect, defend, strive, or withdraw. Rather than seeing these parts as obstacles, we'll learn to meet them with compassion, curiosity, and love, discovering the wisdom each one carries.
Together we'll explore:
* Self-betrayal and returning to yourself
* Building trust with protective parts
* The blocks along the path of love
* Compassion as a transformative practice
* Softening without forcing
* Allowing every part to belong
Weekend III — Abiding
**Resting in the Heart as a way of living**
Our final weekend is an immersion into the experience of simply being. As practice matures, we spend less energy searching and more time resting in the spacious awareness that has always been present. Together we'll explore what it means to carry this way of being into everyday life.
Together we'll explore:
* Deepening meditation practice
* Resting in the presence of Self
* Riding the waves of love and awareness
* Integration into relationships and daily life
* Continuing the journey beyond the series
