Doors open at 6:30 PM for 7 PM Showings and 1:30 PM for the 2:00 PM showing. Please allow yourself time to find parking in our small town. While in town make plans to grab a bite to eat at our local eateries and support local businesses! Tickets are online at hhcct.org or at our Box Office that opens 30 minutes prior to show openings.
This show is triple cast for our youth roles and Double Cast for other roles, please ensure if you are aiming to see a specific person you choose the correct showing. Cast lists are available at the bottom of this description.
We will have a special luncheon as an add on for our March 7th showing. This is available to purchase with your ticket online.
Plot Summary
Based on the powerful and enduring diary of Anne Frank, The Diary of Anne Frank tells the true story of a young Jewish girl and her family who go into hiding during the Nazi occupation of Amsterdam in World War II. For more than two years, Anne, her parents, her sister Margot, and four others live in a secret attic space, struggling to survive in silence and secrecy.
Through Anne’s eyes, the audience witnesses moments of fear, hope, conflict, and tenderness as the group endures the daily challenges of confinement and the constant threat of discovery. Anne’s youthful spirit, imagination, and honesty bring warmth and humanity to their hidden world, even as the dangers outside grow ever closer.
Both deeply moving and quietly inspiring, The Diary of Anne Frank is a poignant portrait of courage, resilience, and the enduring power of the human spirit in the face of unimaginable adversity.
