The McArthur Cup Tournament is held in honor of the seventh dean of Harvard Business School: John H. McArthur (1934-2019).

In its 32nd year, the McArthur Cup is the largest multi-school graduate sporting event in the US and Canada. In addition to his successful tenure as the seventh Dean of HBS, McArthur established the John H. McArthur Canadian Fellowship and was a strong supporter of the HBS Hockey program and the arenas of friendly competition.
