This Lunch & Learn is for local real estate agents and is designed to provide practical insight into commercial real estate lending and transactions you can use in your day-to-day business.

Check-in and lunch will take place from 12:30–1:00 PM, followed by a one-hour educational seminar from 1:00–2:00 PM. Lunch is provided for agents who register in advance.

Ragan will walk agents through the fundamentals of commercial lending, including:

• When to use commercial vs. residential lending
• Standard commercial real estate loan terms and structures
• Current ballpark interest rates and how rates are determined
• Balloon loans vs. ARM loan structures
• What “pre-qualification” means in commercial lending and how it differs from the residential lending process

Attorney Mullen will focus on the legal side of commercial real estate, covering:

• How commercial transactions differ from residential closings
• Key elements of commercial contracts
• How to work with a 1031 exchange company

Each presenter will speak for approximately 15–20 minutes, followed by a 15-minute Q&A session.
