Join some of our Merley Nature Group volunteers for this free event. We need some help to enclose some bee orchids found growing on a verge in the Merley Community Centre car park. This is to protect them from a very busy car park throughout the day especially at school pick up and drop off.
These orchid we're first discovered during lockdown when this car park wasn't being used and they had the first chance in possibly decades to grow again.
We can supply the hazel but please bring along any mallets, saws, gloves, spades and anything else that may be useful.
