Hazard Spotting, 360 Degrees and Communication

A development session for those who are building risk assessments in their sections already,

Prior learning required - the Scout Association online safety learning module.

This session in a group setting plans to deliver:-

· Tools and techniques that can be used to assist in finding as many of the hazards as possible,

· What suitable and sufficient means

· How these hazards can be reduced

· Introducing and practicing using the hierarchy of controls

· How we can adapt and respond to changing events and keep the risk assessment up to date.

· There is no point in writing a risk assessment if you are the only one who knows what it says; so how do we share and get everyone involved.
