Local Authors Hayley & John Rocco Book Signing at Wakefield Books. Hayley Rocco is an award winning author, conservationist and photographer who loves writing children’s books. Also an ambassador for Wild Tomorrow, a nonprofit focused on conservation and re-wilding South Africa, Hayley travels the world armed with a pen, a journal, and her camera, discovering stories of wild things and wild places. John Rocco is a #1 New York Times bestselling author and illustrator of many acclaimed books for children, and has illustrated the covers for Rick Riordan's internationally bestselling series Percy Jackson and the Olympians. For many years Rocco has been an art director in the entertainment industry, working on projects at Dreamworks and Disney Imagineering. Hayley and John will join us for a meet and greet and book signing for two of their most recent titles - All the Books, about a book hoarding chipmunk who discovers the magic that of a library card; and Wild Places, an inspiring and accessible picture book biography of the beloved naturalist, broadcaster, and documentarian David Attenborough.
