Hayfest

Hayfest, Historic Newton's annual fall festival, will take place Sunday, October 4, 2026 at 12-4pm.

Join us for a free, family-friendly day of fall fun! Travel back in and explore life in 19th century Newton, featuring:

• Apple cider pressing
• Butter making
• Candle dipping
• Corn husk doll crafting
• Games
• Live music
• Loom weaving
• Free museum admission
• Raffle prizes
• Refreshments

Activities are held in the backyard of the Jackson Homestead, 527 Washington Street in Newton. This event is free and open to the public.
