❄️ The festive season in Hay will officially launch on the Friday night, when Welsh actor and singer @thereallukeevans will push the plunger to light up the town at Hay’s Christmas Lights Switch On ceremony. Hay is making an evening of it, with choirs, street food, hog roast, bar, mulled wine, mince pies and steam engine Santa! Organised by Hay Chamber of Commerce and Hay Town Council.
❄️ For the Saturday and Sunday the square and halls will be transformed into a vibrant hub of independent creatives, makers, producers, street food and vintage sellers, the perfect place to begin your Christmas shopping.
❄️ @haycastletrust is hosting @hayfestival up on the castle lawn, from Thursday 28 Nov to Sunday 1 Dec, with a packed programme of talks, comedy and music. See www.hayfestival.org for details. There are also satellite events being hosted in venues around town, including Hay St Mary’s Church, @north_books_hay and @poetrybookshop.
