Get all the tips, tricks, and more to identify the hawk-filled skies this migration season.This three-hour interactive workshop includes detailed handouts and discussions on de-mystifying the identification of birds of prey in flight. This is the best way to prepare for the upcoming Hawk Watch at Bentsen-RGV State Park.
Birds of prey are important indicators of environmental well-being. Bentsen's annual Hawk Watch contributes to Hawk Count, a long-term study monitoring raptor population trends and the largest standardized raptor migration network in the world. Hawk count is a project of the Hawk Migration Association of North America.
